About Kristi Johnson… Speaker, author, professor, mother and achiever, Kristi Johnson has provided a beacon of hope where many have said she and others would only find failures cold embrace. Her influential and charismatic spirit has helped to positively impact the lives of countless women, inspiring them to pursue their personal and professional best through effective communication. Through her eyes shines love and regardless of one’s race, social or educational background, Kristi’s ability to see the beauty of the soul rather than a visual perception of an exterior has allowed her to help others break down generational barriers of the status quo. As a result of her hard work, dedication and genuine love for people, she was crowned Ms. Palestine High, Ms. Tyler Junior College, Ms. Texas Junior College Shrine Bowl Queen as well as Miss Grambling Cover Girl.  Amidst her accomplishments, she is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.,  and a former news reporter for the Gospel 1360 AM radio station. She  is a member of Windsor Village United Methodist Church. Currently, she models for the Yolanda Adams Collection and recently appeared in the video, "Be Still"  by Yolanda Adams.

At an early age her father embedded a valuable lesson that has been a mantra and priceless sentiment in the process. “We are all God’s children.”

With her undying ability to be transparent, she has been able to share her experiences as an inspirational platform while challenging others to bring to fruition God’s plan and purpose in their own lives. Her passion and dedication to God led to the birth of a ministry for young girls. Ms.  Johnson’s Christian based pageant for young ladies ages 5-18  was designed to inspire contestants to define themselves in accordance to God’s infallible definition of beauty.

Kristi holds a B.A. in Mass Communications from Grambling State University and an M.A. in Speech Communication from Texas Southern University. She has served as both a full-time and adjunct professor at Houston Community College, Lone Star College and The Art Institute of Houston. She has co-authored three books: Customer Service and Professionalism for Women, The Christian’s Woman’s Guide to Personal Success and Survival Skills for the African-American Woman.
